a) Upon Joining the Association

As part of your membership, we collect the following personal data:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Phone number and email address (if provided)
  • Bank details (for membership fee payment)
  • Information about visual impairment or blindness (if relevant)
  • Membership number and other information relevant to the administration of the association. We use this data to manage your membership, communicate with you, and process membership fees. Legal Basis: The processing of this data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, as it is necessary for the fulfillment of the membership contract.

b) Communication with Members

We use your contact details to inform you about relevant news, events, and activities of the Association that relate to your membership.

Legal Basis: The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in properly informing our members about internal association matters.

c) Bank Details

The provided bank details are used solely for the purpose of processing direct debits for membership fees.

Legal Basis: The processing of your bank details is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for the fulfillment of the membership contract.
